Cape Cod Regional STEM Network at 4Cs Looks to Pair Pre-K-12 Educators with “Teacher-in-Residence” Opportunities

The Cape Cod Regional STEM Network at Cape Cod Community College is seeking applications from local Pre-K through 12 STEM teachers across Massachusetts as part of their “Teacher-in-Residence” program. Offered via a grant from the Woods Hole Sea Grant, the Teacher-in-Residence program pairs a STEM teacher with a marine science or technology host institution in their region for a two week externship. In addition to a $1000 stipend for completing their externship, a transportation stipend is also available to alleviate the cost of travel.

Cape Cod Community College Awarded TRAIN Grant for Addiction Recovery Coach Precertification and Google IT Support Programs

Cape Cod Community College has been awarded $97,364 from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (DHE) as part of the ongoing Training Resources and Internship Networks (TRAIN) Program. The Center for Corporate and Professional Education at Cape Cod Community College (CCAPE) will administer two grant-funded career-training programs in the spring of 2021 utilizing this funding: the Addiction Recovery Coach Pre-Certification and Wellness Training Program and the Google IT Support Professional Certificate Program.

90.7 WKKL Welcomes Back Alumni, Special Guests for Station Re-Launch

Starting this Tuesday, February 2, 90.7 WKKL at Cape Cod Community College is celebrating its return to the airwaves with the help of radio station alumni who have found radio success on the national and local stage. Like Bill Murray’s “Groundhog Day”, expect to flashback to a different WKKL alumni each hour playing Cape Cod’s Classic Alternative music in a return to WKKL’s roots.
