4Cs Funeral Service Program Receives Accreditation from American Board of Funeral Service Education

Nearly three years after taking on the Funeral Service program from Mount Ida College after their sudden closing, Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) has received accreditation from the American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE). This makes Cape Cod Community College the only public institution with an accredited Funeral Service Program in New England accredited by ABFSE, the premiere agency in the field.

Cape Cod Community College’s 2021 Commencement Ceremony to be Held Virtually on May 27

Cape Cod Community College’s 2021 Commencement ceremony, celebrating the graduating class of 2021, will be delivered virtually on YouTube on May 27, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The event will feature photos and videos of graduating students, remarks from College faculty and alumni, and a keynote speech from 4Cs alumni Rear Admiral Douglas Verissimo, Commander of the US Navy’s Carrier Strike Group NINE.

4Cs Receives $30,000 to Start “PowerUp” Grant to Fill Student Financial Gaps

For more than 30 years, Sally Chapman Cameron served as a community college administrator in the Southcoast of Massachusetts, dedicating her career to promoting the life-changing benefits of higher education. Now retired and living in Barnstable, Cameron has turned her attention to supporting a new generation of students, personally funding a $30,000 grant to connect students at Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) with money that supports unmet needs and helps keep them on a path to college completion.

4Cs Offering No-Cost Small Business Direct Access Training as Local Businesses Look to Spring and Summer Reopening

As Governor Baker eases capacity restrictions for restaurants, theaters, and other businesses, The Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE) at Cape Cod Community College is helping employers prepare by offering free training through the Commonwealth Corporation Small Business Direct Access Grant Program. In addition to the Management in Today’s Workplace (formerly Management Academy) and Senior Leadership Programs, which have been enrolling since September 2019, CCAPE has added Customer-First Service and Sales Academy and Step-by-Step Social Media Marketing to their lineup of no-cost programs.
