In 1997, one of the top-grossing films of all time was released. “Titanic,” directed by James Cameron, is the love story between Rose (Kate Winslet), a first-class passenger, and Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio), a third-class passenger, on the RMS Titanic in 1912. Twenty five years after the film’s initial release, it is back in theaters -- in 3D.

Every student has a story. What’s more, every student’s story is different from the next. The nursing club involves nearly all of the nursing students -- over 130 members. It was scheduled to host 4C’s first White Coat Ceremony Dec. 6 for the nursing students just starting to kick off their clinical education.

Let’s face it: Reading is an integral part of how we learn. Although technology is now at the core of the modern student’s academic career, reading continues to be a key player in information-processing. In fact, we are constantly intaking written communication without consciously realizing it – on the way to campus, we pass by traffic signs, company logos and billboards. On the way to classes, we walk by posters and flyers around the college’s buildings. Now, imagine the impact that conscious pleasure reading can have on learning.

Ann Sullivan is a 52-year-old woman who has started taking classes at 4C’s this fall. Sullivan is currently taking two classes, biology and organic chemistry, but is thinking of taking three classes this upcoming spring.
