90.7 WKKL at 4Cs to Host Alumni Hall of Fame and Fundraising Event at Cotuit Center for the Arts

90.7 WKKL, the student radio station at Cape Cod Community College, is calling on alumni, listeners, and friends of the historic station to join them for an “Alumni Social” on Monday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts. The event will feature live music from Little Star – featuring 4Cs and WKKL alumni Sarah Colvin and Rob Cushing - and DJ Jett, a silent auction to support WKKL, and a ceremony recognizing the first Inductees into the WKKL Hall of Fame.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honors Society at 4Cs to Host Toy and Gift Drive for Foster-Care Families

Students in the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honors society at Cape Cod Community College will be helping foster families across the Cape and Islands have a happier holiday thanks to a community drive to support nonprofit organizations in the region. On Saturday, November 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., members of the community are welcome to come to the College’s West Barnstable campus to donate toys and gifts that will support Kind Hearts for Kids in Bourne and Cape Cod Foster Closet in Orleans.

The Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE) Offering Reimbursable Employer Training Programs

As local employers continue to navigate workplace uncertainties brought on by the pandemic, the Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE) at Cape Cod Community College is offering reimbursable professional development training opportunities for businesses across the region. Through the Commonwealth Corporation’s expanded “Express Program,” qualifying employers with 100 or fewer employees receive 100% reimbursement on training and employers with more than 100 employees receive 50% reimbursement.

4Cs Educational Foundation Selected for Stop & Shop Community Bag Program to Give Back in Local Communities

Cape Cod Community College’s Educational Foundation has been selected by local Stop and Shop store leadership as their November benefiting non-profit for their “Community Bag Program.” As part of the partnership, the Educational Foundation will receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 reusable Community Bag purchased at the Marstons Mills Stop and Shop, located at 3900 Falmouth Road.

Cape Cod Community College to Host Live Pinning Ceremony for 2021 Nursing Graduates

Cape Cod Community College will celebrate the 2021 graduates from their Nursing program on Wednesday, June 9 at 6:00 p.m., during a live ceremony on campus in the Tilden Arts Center. While the event is closed to the public, a small number of friends and family members will be in attendance, following the relaxation on COVID-19 related guidelines by Governor Baker. The event will also be live streamed via YouTube.
