2019: News at 4Cs

Cape Cod Community College and University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth have signed an articulation agreement that will provide guaranteed admission and tuition remission to 4Cs students who earn an Associate of Science degree in Engineering Technology and Advanced Manufacturing with at least a 2.5 grade point average and transfers into either the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering baccalaureate program at UMass-Dartmouth.

On Thursday, May 23 at 4:00pm, Cape Cod Community College will celebrate its 57th Commencement ceremony at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis. In total, the College will award degrees and certificates to 568 graduating students.

On Friday, May 17, from 1:30–3:30pm the Project Forward program at Cape Cod Community College will celebrate their 2019 graduating class during a ceremony in the Tilden Arts Center Theater.

Cape Cod Community College is partnering with Vineyard Wind, developer of the nation’s first large-scale offshore wind project, to launch a non-credit College course that will address global and state trends, local career and supply chain opportunities, and technology basics related to offshore wind.

Grace Jensen earned congratulations and a handshake from Governor Charlie Baker at the Massachusetts State House as the College’s 2019 “29 Who Shine” honoree.

On Wednesday, April 2, two Cape Cod Community College students were named to the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society’s All-Massachusetts Academic Team. During a ceremony at the Massachusetts State House, students Kai Catalina Pombo and Emma Perry were recognized for demonstrating outstanding intellectual rigor, academic achievement, leadership, and civic growth.
