4Cs 2019 Commencement Ceremony Taking Place Thursday at the Cape Cod Melody Tent

On Thursday, May 23 at 4:00pm, Cape Cod Community College will celebrate its 57th Commencement ceremony at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis. In total, the College will award degrees and certificates to 568 graduating students.

Dr. John Silvanus Wilson, Jr., Senior Advisor and Strategy to the President at Harvard University, former President of Morehouse College, and former head of President Barack Obama’s Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities will deliver the 2019 Commencement Address.

Frank G. Frederickson ‘79, Chief of the Yarmouth Police Department, and Matthew Dolan ‘15, Chief Executive Officer for the Addiction Treatment Center of New England, will be honored as the College’s Alumni of the Year. Chief Frederickson is in his 40th year of service for the Yarmouth Police Department, is a three-time “Office of the Year” recipient, and serves as a member of the College’s Criminal Justice Advisory Board. Mr. Dolan just entered his new role as CEO for ATC of New England, and previously served as Director of Community Affairs for River Oaks Treatment Center in Tampa, Florida. He transferred from 4Cs to UMass-Amherst where he obtained his Bachelors degree in 2016, and last year he was accepted into the Doctoral of Behavioral Health program at Arizona State University.
