An Enchanted Prom Night

Going to prom must be a part of every high school experience. That’s at least what everyone told me. I was planning on not attending prom because I’m not close with anyone in my class anymore. We all grew apart once I started dual enrollment and they started planning their college journeys. I have also become more independent throughout my senior year and I’m ready to graduate.

Photo Essay: Ukraine Discussion Panel

Cape Cod Community College’s Day of support for Ukraine started with heartfelt remarks from Vice President of academic and student affairs Kathleen Vranos, President John Cox, Student Government President Colleen Ellis, and Ukrainian 4C student Iryna Cotino. Followed by the Ukrainian flag ceremony; as the flag rose to the top of the flagpole, the Ukraine national anthem was played. Participants then met in the Wilkins Library, where Professor Sara Ringler’s drawing ll students Ukraine collaborative art piece was displayed and artwork done by Deirdre Morgan. A virtual discussion panel was held to discuss the Ukraine crisis.

The First In-Person Commencement in Years

After two years of commencement being a virtual occasion, Cape Cod Community College (4C's) will once again be hosting the ceremony as an in-person event at the Cape Cod Melody Tent.

Masks are No Longer Mandatory.

Cape Cod Community College (4C's) has decided to move forward with mask-optional learning on campus. This change went into effect Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Cape Cod Community College Inducts Eighteen Students into Phi Theta Kappa

Eighteen 4C’s students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on March 23. The ceremony, which was streamed live from the Tilden Arts Center, began with a short introductory presentation explaining the society. Phi Theta Kappa prides itself on the fact that it “recognizes scholars and develops leaders” in 1,285 chapters worldwide through strengthening networking and leadership skills.

New Faces Join the Wellness Office

This year, the Student Wellness Office at Cape Cod Community College (4C’s) welcomes four new staff into the program. A case manager, a SUCCESS navigator, a clinician, and a staff assistant are all new to the college. All these staff members are excited to be at 4C’s and say they look forward to connecting with students.
