Sea Change Magazine Earns Prestigious National Honors
November 14, 2024The 2024 edition of Sea Change, Cape Cod Community College’s beloved magazine of the arts, has earned an impressive accolade from the Community College Humanities Association (CCHA). The magazine received 2nd Place in the Eastern Region Best Magazine Award category, a testament to the talent, creativity, and dedication of its staff and contributors.
For over five decades, Sea Change has celebrated the artistic voices within the Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) family, and this year’s edition continues that tradition with flair and excellence.

2nd Place, Best Short Story: Leigh Miano for "Beach Conversations." Miano’s short story explores deep themes through quiet, contemplative dialogue set against the backdrop of Cape Cod’s serene shores.

3rd Place, Best Artwork: Lix Powers for "Mini Sakura Tree." Powers’ delicate and intricate work showcases an exceptional eye for detail, earning recognition among the region’s best visual artists.

2nd Place, Best Photography: Griffin Erdman for "Swan Cape Cod." Erdman’s photograph captures the natural beauty of Cape Cod with elegance and precision, earning accolades for its composition and storytelling.
