February 24, 2020

On March 9, 2020, Cape Cod Community College will host a free screening of No Small Matter, the first feature documentary to explore the evolving landscape of early childhood education. Through poignant stories from real children, families, and teachers, the films lays out the overwhelming evidence for the importance of the first five years, and reveals how failure to act on that evidence has caused an everyday crisis for American families.

The film is grounded in science, opening up the “black box” of what’s happening inside children’s brains with exciting, stimulating animation and the voices of scientists, physicians, and early childhood education experts. Following the screening of the film, faculty members from the 4Cs Early Childhood Education program will be hosting a Q&A for audience members.
