CCAPE Launches New No-Cost Employer Training Programs
July 13, 2020The Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCAPE) at Cape Cod Community College has expanded the topics offered under their Small Business Direct Access Program grant course offerings. In addition to their Management Academy and Senior Leadership Programs, which have been enrolling since September 2019, CCAPE has added “The Essentials of Supply Chain Management” and “Customer-First Service and Sales Academy” to their list of grant funded, no-cost programs.
Each of the no-cost programs are offered in a remote, instructor-led live webinar series, allowing more convenience for employers and their remote workers.
“These programs are a great way for employers to take advantage of high-quality, relevant no-cost training,” said Tammi Jacobsen, Director of Workforce Development and Training. “We especially feel as though ‘The Essentials of Supply Chain Management’ and ‘Customer-First Service and Sales Academy’ will have a profound impact on our employers as they go through various changes in their processes while settling into a new normal.”
The four offered programs are each 24-hour (8-session) instructor-led live-stream webinars. Space is limited and registration is required. For more information, to register, or to learn if your organization is eligible, contact Program Coordinator for Corporate Education, Danielle Dupuis at 508-375-5015 or email [email protected].
The Small Business Direct Access Program addresses smaller-scale training needs by making training slots available in popular topics, free of charge, to eligible businesses. Businesses with 100 or fewer Massachusetts employees that contribute to the Workforce Training Fund are eligible to access free training through the Small Business Direct Access Program.
