In the display case near the Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) gymnasium, you can see trophies from basketball teams of years past. It’s been over 16 years since 4Cs has had a basketball team, but the 4Cs Kings won their division of the Cape Cod Basketball League (CCBL) in both 2002 and 2003. Despite that previous success, the only basketball games currently offered by the school are pickup games.

Founded in the spring of 1977, WKKL 91.1 FM is a public radio station operating from the Makkay broadcast station located on the Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) campus. The station is run by Naomi Arenberg a 4Cs professor of communications as well as an experienced DJ, formally of WGBH Boston.

The question most students then ask is ‘what is this group and what do they do?’ As it turns out, knowing the answer to that question could actually save students money as well as help further their academic careers.
