Students’ Musical Tastes Vary

by Vaughn Pillsbury

Students at 4C’s each have their own taste in music. Some students like rock, while others like rap. There are some who like both.

They like to listen to music to work out, study, or simply have fun. It also gives them the energy they need to get them prepared for tests and quizzes.

I asked some students what kind of music they like. Here are a few of their responses:

Andrew Hoffman: “I like some rock music and... pop. I feel like the beat is getting to me.”

Katelyn Mahannah: “I like any kind of rock music... I was the lead singer in high school. I [also] like a lot of rap... It has the good beats to it.”

Michael Masseda: “Mostly hip-hop... Kinda gets me the right mind space to get me to the gym and lift.”

Jordan DaSilva: “I like guitars, slow rhythmic R&Bs. I like the way it makes me feel and makes me want to move my body and dance.”
