School Clubs Connecting Students at 4Cs
by Thomas Schultze
School clubs can improve socialization and get a new perspective on campus life. All 4Cs clubs came together on Feb. 2 in Grossman Commons to let students discover their favorite activities and help them socialize with other students who share their interests. It shows that there is more to college other than homework and turning in things on time.
Many clubs were presented, including the Gaming Club, Anime Club, Honors Club, and LGBTQ+ Club. The Gaming Club is where students can play board games, discuss all things that are game related, and play video games on occasion. The Anime Club is where students can learn about media in different cultures such as anime and manga. The Honors club aims to make learning fun for students by providing them with activities to advance their academic skills to graduate and succeed in life. Club Day provided information about school clubs that were not mentioned on the 4Cs website including the Art Club and the D&D Club. The Art Club is where students can learn about creativity and expression through painting, drawing, and hands-on projects. The D&D Club is for Dungeons & Dragons fans and students who enjoy strategy board games.
