Prepping 4 Finals: 4C ‘s is Here to Help
by Makayla Crowley
The last week of classes means a lot to college students. It means cramming for exams,
getting those last assignments in and trying to make time to breathe. Cape Cod Community
College’s Wellness Center and Peer Mentors are here to help students with the stress of finals
with a De-Stress Fest, and a series of events called “4CS4U”.
The Wellness Center will host a “De-stress Fest” in the Fitness Center to help students get
their mind off academics. This event features activities such as indoor soccer, painting on
canvases, and even getting your own caricature by a professional artist.
On May 2 and May 3, there featured a “Final Exam Care Kit Pick Up” in the Upper Grossman
Commons. 4CS4U arranged goodie bag type care kits for students with things like snacks, toys,
study tips and more!
On May 10 and May 11 is a “Focus Food 4U!” event which promotes nourishing your brain and
body while making it easy to grab some snacks in between studying. Both days have breakfast
and boxed lunches available for students. Snacks, cookies and beverages are going to be handed out
Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday has a grilled cheese station.
On May 16 is “We’re Cheering 4U!” which is an event being held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., celebrating the last day of spring finals with snacks, sweets, and beverages, allowing students to stop by as often as they please.
