The 4C’s bookstore is now fully open to the public, and store manager Deborah Osborne has tips on how to buy and sell books.
- You can shop in-person or shop online at capecodccshop.com. Go to “Get your textbooks” to search by student ID or by course.
- To enter the bookstore, you must wear a mask.
- "We recommend you order books ahead of time if you wish for them to be delivered. If your delivery is delayed, contact the bookstore for help with tracking information.’’
- Rental books are expected to be returned in saleable condition. If you lose or damage your rental before the due date, the store can charge you for the difference between the rental and the sale price. Also, Osborne adds, “If you don’t reach out to the bookstore, there will be additional penalties.’’
- To sell your textbooks: Go to capecodccshop.com. At the bottom of the website, click on “Sell your textbooks” and follow the instructions or, go to the bookstore with the books you would like to sell back. Prices are based on supply and demand for the textbook.
- The store also sells school supplies, snacks, clothing, gifts, and various computer and technology devices. "There is no guarantee we will be able to buy textbooks back.’’ Osborne says.
