4C’s Has Lunch, Brazilian Style
by Dawn Christakis
The 4C’s Brazilian Luncheon transported our taste buds straight to Brazil.
Held Dec. 5 Grossman Commons Café, it featured traditional delights, transforming the typical lunch hour into a symphony of flavors, textures, and colors representing Brazil's rich culture. On the menu: shaved Brazilian-style brisket, grilled pineapple with mango, Brazilian chicken with coconut milk, fried plantain, rice, black beans, and, for dessert, Brazilian-style coconut cake.
I thought every dish was delicious, but the Brazilian-style brisket was the standout, and it quickly disappeared. The coconut cake was the perfect dessert, very light and just sweet enough.
