4C’s Club Day Offers Sense of Community
by Dolfina Allan
Lovers of anime, artists, “Dungeons & Dragons,” music, Jesus, and many more came together at the Grossman Commons Cafeteria on Sept. 20 for 4C’s Club Day.
This day takes place every semester. Many students attended this event to find a group they could call home or join in on something they enjoyed. This day was for students to find more clubs or new students to find their niche. Many of the clubs offered gift bags and goodies to students who inquired about the clubs. Students also enjoyed free ice cream. Some of the clubs that were available to students were the Anime Club, “Dungeon and Dragons” Club, Music Co-op, and Jesus Club.
Club representatives provided information about their group’s activities. Most clubs participate in a service project that they do throughout each semester that gives something back to the campus.
“We will be receiving chairs to paint, and we will be placing them around campus when they are finished,” says Art Club President Jonathan O’Callaghan.
Sometimes the clubs collaborate to hold events on campus. This year the anime, “Dungeons & Dragons” and LGBTQ+ clubs are collaborating to host a campus Halloween party for everyone to join in for some fun.
