by Zora Fiset Morin

Taylor Swift has been popular among the teens for decades now.

With her new album Midnights, which covers love and feminine empowerment, it already surpassing one million hits within four days. We wanted to know what 4C’s students thought about the new album.

Emily McCarthy: “I really liked it; I thought it was kind of different from what Taylor usually does. It’s kind of on another level, all of her eras are so different, so it’s just a very big moment.”

Delaney Murphy: “I loved it, it was a mix of like all of her albums. It was nice having a new album, it was back to more of her pop stuff which I liked a lot.”

Ej Celia: “I thought it was pretty good. She went back to her pop more.”

Isodora Greenberg: “I like it. She starts the album strong, it’s almost like you're going through hills and valleys. There’s a nice mix of soft, but also a lot of nice pop songs. I'm hearing similarities from her last two albums. She’s still sticking to being Taylor but she’s starting to open the curtain a bit more.”

Jocelyn Leja: “It's different from what she usually puts out, it's less country like what it used to be. It’s a bit more different, I would recommend it, if you’re into pop, it’s not bad.”
