Students Are Thankful for…
by Thomas Schultze
With Thanksgiving flocking its way toward Nov. 24, the MainSheet went around campus asking students what they were thankful for and how they celebrate Thanksgiving every year.
Here’s what students had to say.
Matthew Brun: Brun is Thankful for his family, his job, and new friends. He spends his Thanksgiving watching “The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” and having dinner with his family.
Austin Fierley: Fierley is thankful for coming back to 4Cs in person after two years of online schooling. He is also thankful for the friends he made while in the military and for being alive today. Each Thanksgiving, he spends Thanksgiving Day with his family and close friends for the whole day.
Kaitlyn Murphy: Murphy is thankful for being able to come to campus and for her peers' support. Every year, she spends Thanksgiving with her family for dinner and dessert.
Evelyn Tryby: Tryby is thankful for reuniting with her father, who lived in Ohio and is now moving to Massachusetts, and also for her dog. Her family celebrates Thanksgiving with a home-cooked meal at her grandparents’ house.
Carter Galloway-Kahn: Galloway-Kahn says he’s thankful for his nephew. He celebrates Thanksgiving by going to his cousin’s place for the whole day.
Dominique Sosnowski: Sosnowski is thankful for her family. She celebrates Thanksgiving with them at her boyfriend’s aunt’s house.
Vini Madiar: Madiar is thankful to study at 4Cs in person. How he chooses to celebrate Thanksgiving, this year, is unknown even to him.
