Clubs Support Students in All Areas of Life
by Joshua Devlin
Our college features numerous clubs and activities for individuals seeking recreational extracurricular activities. These clubs include the ALANA Network club and the Collegiate Recovery Club. The Collegiate Recovery Club focuses on helping students who suffer from addiction issues and alcoholism find support. This club meets the first and third week of every month on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:15 PM in MMWIL 105.
The ALANA Network Club stands for African Diaspora, Latinx/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander, Indigenous & Allies Network. This club focuses on fostering inclusion and awareness pertaining to those who are part of various racial and ethnic groups. This includes hosting multicultural events including panel discussions, and expressions of various cultures through performances and art. This is especially accomplished through collaborations with other student organizations and college departments. This club is perfect for anyone looking to expand their knowledge on the many diverse cultures that exist both in the world, and on campus. For more information on this club, contact [email protected].
