Credit Hours Lead to Improved Success Rates

Credit hours have increased over the past year from the Fall 2018 semester by 1.6%, which is 5.5% above the projection for the school. Credit hours are how income coming into 4Cs is accessed, which in turn dictates the amount of money 4Cs have to invest back into its programs.

Wikipedia defines gaslighting as a form of psychological manipulation in which a person seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception and sanity. Using persistent denial, misdirection, contradiction and lying, gaslighting involves attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim’s beliefs.

Rebecca Griffin Aims to Motivate Students

In the spring of 2016, Professor Rebecca Griffin found herself starting her first day of her new career as a teacher at Cape Cod Community College. “I was very excited when I first heard about the position the year before,” said Griffin, “I knew that I wanted to work with adults and I knew that I wanted to work in New England, so when the opportunity presented itself I jumped at it.”

Campus Publication Produces Creativity

4Cs offers a wide variety of courses that are not only hands-on, but also incredibly rewarding. One course in particular, titled Producing Magazine of the Arts (ENL170), places students on the publication staff of the 4Cs literary and arts magazine known as Sea Change.
