Movie Review: A New Take on a Classic Villian

Directed and co-written by Todd Philips, Joker (2019) is a Drama/Thriller origin film about the classic DC comic supervillain. Starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a damaged, mentally-unwell man working at a company that supplies circus style clowns for children’s parties, to support himself and his seemingly invalid mother, Penny.

Higgins Gallery Presents Artist Lucy Clark

The Higgins Art Gallery, located in the Tilden Arts Center right on the 4Cs campus, welcomes ‘Walk Woods Watch Water’, a special exhibit by artist in residence Lucy Clark. On the night of Tuesday, October 15, the Higgins Gallery held a celebratory reception where Clark was on hand to answer questions.

Travel the World of Foreign Films

For local cinephiles and movie buffs, Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) offers a weekly screening of films from across the globe to broaden horizons and entertain. For nearly 28 years 4Cs has offered a free ‘Foreign Film Series’ which takes place in Lecture Hall A of the Science Building, every Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
