CCCC Project Forward: A Vocational Program Fostering Independent Workers

4Cs Unveils New Science Building

For the past seven years, 4Cs President John Cox has been the front runner on the project for major, and greatly needed, improvements to the environment that 4Cs science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students work and learn in every day. Today, a year after the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) approved of the plans for the 23,000 square foot facility, the faculty and administration are sitting on the edge of their seats while awaiting the highly anticipated construction of the new building.

Vape Laws on Cape Cause Controversy

As Governor Charlie Baker’s ban on vaping takes effect across the state, nothing actually changes for students and faculty at 4Cs. Since September of 2014, the Board of Trustees has deemed the campus of 4Cs to be smoke free. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes and vapes of any kind.

Assault Alert Raises Concerns on Campus

An alleged sexual assault was reported to Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) Campus Police on September 3, 2019. Two students, who are reported to not be previously familiar with each other, are said to have been involved in the assault that occurred in the entrance way of the Lorusso Applied Technology Building.

Travel the World of Foreign Films

For local cinephiles and movie buffs, Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) offers a weekly screening of films from across the globe to broaden horizons and entertain. For nearly 28 years 4Cs has offered a free ‘Foreign Film Series’ which takes place in Lecture Hall A of the Science Building, every Tuesday at 3:30 PM.

Campus PD Holding Assault Investigation

On the afternoon of Thursday, October 10th, Chief Maria Padilla of the Campus Police issued a campus-wide Clery Timely Warning Notice (CTWN) via email alerting students and staff of Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) to a reported incident of an alleged assault with a dangerous weapon.
