This immersive exhibit features Boston poet-artist Cedric Harper.  Wander through a forest of vertical, 3D and 2D pieces, with literal texts and symbolic marks, borrowing from global gestural languages. Cedric channels his forbears with his ideas wandering across a broad landscape, landing on love, loss, style, queerness, and perseverance. He innovates in the scrambling of language embedded in many works.

Cedric Harper was at first a contemporary dancer for the New York Alvin Ailey Company. Later Harper moved to Boston to worked in healthcare as an advocate for individuals with disabilities. He has embraced full-time art making for the last 15 years.
