Three Days We Waited for the Messenger, by Leslie Gillette Jackson

Three Days We Waited for the Messenger

October 4–October 20, 2016

Leslie Gillette Jackson was well-known for her “icons” and triptychs—works on wood that combine carving, ink, acrylic, and collage, and that engage mythopoetic themes. The theme of her work is varied, and her art lies somewhere between realism and abstraction.
