Early Childhood Education
Earn your credentials at a lower cost
Early childhood educators are needed in preschools, infant and toddler programs, and early childhood centers. Our Career Pathways Grant opens new opportunities for you to earn your credentials at a reduced cost, take free courses to earn a Child Development Associate credential, and more.
At 4Cs, we offer Associate Degrees in Early Childhood Education (Career Option and Early Childhood Education Transfer Compact), and Certificates in Infant and Toddler Care and Preschool Education. Enroll in one of these programs, remain is good academic standing, and you will be eligible to use grant funding to cover the costs of tuition and text books.
A nationally-recognized credential, the CDA has been called the “best first step” in an early childhood career. Designed for entry-level educators and career changers, the CDA can lead to Teacher certification in Massachusetts and, with experience, can also qualify you as a Lead Teacher.
Through our new CDA Plus program, you will take three grant-funded courses designed to meet the educational requirements of the CDA. You will also receive the following benefits:
The CDA credential you earn is good in all 50 states and it satisfies the Massachusetts Dept. of Early Education and Care (EEC) educational requirements for Teacher and Lead Teacher.
If you are enrolled in one of our degree or certificate programs, you will be able to earn your CDA before you graduate.
ECE courses are offered through the Career Pathways Grant at no cost to early educators who want to boost their certification level to Teacher, Lead Teacher, or Director.
