4Cs4U, Support to help you finish what you've started!

You are 4Cs! You belong here!

For: Students who don't place directly into College Level Math AND those who have not yet completed College Level Math for their degree program.

Why: Many students who struggle with math do not complete their degree or transfer...we want to help students tackle their math hurdles and move on to the rest of their academic and career goals!

What: We provide Wrap around Advising and Retention support

  • Advising (academic planning, course registration, career and transfer planning, study skills and navigating higher education),
  • Math support outside of the classroom to help you be successful IN the classroom (ALEKS PPL math placement and remediation tool, math learning plans and a FT math support coordinator in the Math Lab to come!)
  • Case management (help filling out FAFSA or financial aid or scholarship papers, help to find wellness support, help to get signed up for tutoring, referral to all college support services).
  • Peer mentoring (work with a peer mentor now and work to become a peer mentor yourself!)
  • In person and remote events and workshops to make connections with other students, staff and faculty on campus (ex: scholarship workshops, fill out your FAFSA workshops, program open house, all with food provided!)

We will be your person!

Where: Grossman Upper Commons 206D is our 4Cs4U hub.  Students can reach us at [email protected] or by calling 774-330-4030
